Stanley D. Dameron, D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Dameron grew up in Fredericksburg when it was still a small town. He remembers when there was no mall and no McDonalds! He attended James Monroe High School and the University of Richmond. Wanting to combine his artistic talents with the exacting nature of science, he went on to the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, graduating in 1979, in the top of his class. He was selected to further his professional education at The University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and completed their General Practice Residency in 1980. While there, he received extensive training in oral surgery, and advanced, complex dental reconstruction. Upon opening his practice in Fredericksburg, he was asked to become a member of the faculty at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where he taught for several years. After practicing for 5 years, he studied under the internationally known Dr. Carl Misch, graduating from the Misch Implant Institute. Dr. Dameron has been active in the Virginia Dental Association and selected to join the Pierre Fauchard Academy, signifying Excellence in the Art & Science of Dentistry. Dr. Dameron has been a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry since 1982, achieved by attending over 500 hours of continuing education. He is committed to practicing with the most up-to-date, finest methods and materials. Many general dentists refer unusual or difficult cases to Dr. Dameron for treatment. We invite you to join our family of patients who appreciate Dr. Dameron's gentle, caring manner. You are in good hands!
